Student Agreement – Terms and Conditions

General Information

These Terms and Conditions apply to all students enrolled in our online English courses. By joining a course, students accept the following terms.

Technical Requirements

Students must have a stable internet connection, a microphone, a camera, and an account on our platform to attend classes. In case of technical issues:

• For group classes: Students can request a 15-minute catch-up session.
• For private classes: If the issue is on our side, the class will be rescheduled or refunded in credits. If the issue is on the student’s side, the class is counted as missed.

Enrollment and Payment

• Students must create an account on our website to enroll.
• Each new student receives a free private trial class (55 minutes) to experience our teaching methods.
• Payments must be made in advance and are generally non-refundable (except in exceptional cases, such as medical issues).
• Subscription renews each time a student purchases new credits. Students can manage payments and renewals through their account.
• If applicable, subscription expiration dates will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.

Class Rules and Attendance

Class durations:

• Private/duo classes: 55 minutes
• Group classes for children under 10: 55 minutes
• Group classes for teenagers and adults: 80 minutes

Scheduling:

• Private students book their own classes.
• Group classes follow a fixed schedule.
• If the entire group is unavailable, rescheduling may be arranged as an exception.

Cancellations:

• Private students must cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours before the class.
• Group classes cannot be rescheduled.
• If a student misses a group class, they may request a 15-minute catch-up session.
• If a student is more than 15 minutes late, the class will be considered missed.

Group Class Policies

• Small group (4 students): Minimum 3, maximum 4 students.
• Larger group (6 students): Minimum 5, maximum 6 students.
• If a group has fewer students than the minimum, possible solutions include rescheduling, merging with another group, or adjusting class structure.

Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers provide:

• Structured lessons
• Audio/video materials and PDFs
• Feedback and support
• Communication via platform chat

Refund and Cancellation Policy

• Payments are non-refundable, except in exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical reasons).
• If a technical failure occurs on our side, the class will be rescheduled or refunded in credits.
• If a student cancels a private class with less than 24 hours’ notice, the class is counted as missed.

Code of Conduct

• Respectful communication and behavior are required.
• Any disruptive or disrespectful behavior in group classes may result in temporary or permanent removal from the group.

Privacy and Data Protection

• Student personal data is handled securely and used only for educational purposes.
• Classes are not recorded.

Agreement and Acceptance

By enrolling and submitting payment, students confirm that they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. Additional legal provisions may apply where relevant.
